Very good info for people looking at cards as an investment . By all accounts even a personal collection is an investment. I have been following your blogs and have found them usefull.

I would just add as long time buyer / seller of collectibles. Only buy what you can afford. Do research and more research. Beware of buying with ideas of great profit. Buy the best quality you can afford. Enjoy your purchases. If their locked away and cant be seen,theres really no enjoyment.

I have an autographed 90-91 Upper Deck Rob Blake rookie card that I got standing outside of the Isoplex in Van Nuys after Kings practice for hours. 1993 I think.
